we have the equation

-4y=8-x

Rewrite in standard form

x-4y=8

Find out the intercepts

step 1

y-intercept

For x=0

substitute

0-4y=8

-4y=8

y=-2

the y-intercept is the point (0,-2)

step 2

x-intercept

For y=0

x-4(0)=8

x=8

the x-intercept is the point (8,0)

step 3

Plot the intercepts and join them to graph the line
