The equation can be re-written in slope-intercept form as;


\begin{gathered} y=mx+b \\ 2y=2+x \\ y=(2+x)/(2) \\ y=(2)/(2)+(x)/(2) \\ y=1+(x)/(2) \\ y=(1)/(2)x+1 \end{gathered}
