Put simply, yes.

To prove, find like denominators, then compare numerators.

Factors of 6: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36

Factors of 8: 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48

The LCF is 24.

(4)/(6)*4=(16)/(24)

(2)/(8)*3=(6)/(24)

Now compare numerators.

16 > 6

So yes, 4/6 is greater than 2/8.

Hope this helps. Have a nice day.

Answer:

Yes it is.

Explanation:

There are two ways to do this.

1: Find a common denominator, such as _/24. First, you do how many times does 6 go into 24? Well, 4, so then do 4x4 = 16/24 then do the same thing for 8. 8x3=24, so 2x3=6/24. So 16/24 is greater than 6/24.

2: 4/6 = 0.667 and 2/8 = 0.25. So yes, 0.667 is greater.

*Hope this Helps*
