Given

2 cans cover 750 square feet

x cans cover 15000 square feet

Then, find x:

\begin{gathered} 750* x=15000*2 \\ 750x=30000 \\ (750x)/(750)=(30000)/(750) \\ x=40 \end{gathered}

This is, 40 cans of paint can cover 15000 square feet.

On the other hand, we have:

1 can has a price of $25, so

40*25=1000

Therefore, 40 cans have a price of $1000

And finally, the sales tax rate is 7%, this is:

1000*(7)/(100)=1000*0.07=70

Hence, the total cost is

1000+70=1070

Answer: E. $1070
