Tami built a flower box for her plants. The box she built is 15 inches in length, 4 inches wide, and 6 inches tall. her plants are now too large for the box. she wants to build a box twice the size of the original. what is the volume of her new flower box?

If she wants to make a box that is twice f the size of the original, we have to multiply each dimension by 2


\begin{gathered} 15*2=30 \\ 4*2=8 \\ 6*2=12 \end{gathered}

Then, we multiply the new dimensions to find the volume of the new box


V=30*8*12=2,880in^3

Hence, the volume is 2,880 cubic inches.
