We have

the next equation

3x+2y=12

First, we need to know the slope-intercept form

y=mx+b

where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

so we need to clear y of the equation given

y=-(3)/(2)x+6

where

the slope is -3/2

the point of the y-intercept is (0,6)

the point of the x-intercept is (4,0)

using the formula of the slope

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(0-6)/(4-0)=(-6)/(4)=-(3)/(2)

as we can see we found the same value

the graph is
