In general, given two points, we can find the slope of a line by using the next formula

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

In our problem,

\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)=(-3,1),(x_2,y_2)=(2,7) \\ \Rightarrow m=(7-1)/(2-(-3))=(6)/(5)=1.2 \end{gathered}

The answer is 1.2
