So I’m doing this assignment and got stuck on this question can someone help me out Simplify(3-4i)(1-i)

Recall that:


i^2=-1.

Applying the distributive property to the given expression we get:


3*1+3*(-i)-4i*1-4i*(-i).

Simplifying the above result we get:


\begin{gathered} 3-3i-4i+4i^2=3-3i-4i-4 \\ =-1-7i. \end{gathered}

Answer: Option A.
