To find the graph of this line we first need to find its equation. The equation of a line in its slope-intercept form is:


y=mx+b

In this case m=2 and b=-7. Then:


y=2x-7

Once we have the equation we just need to find two points on the line, to do this we give x a value (whichever value we like). Using x=0, we find that:


y=2(0)-7=-7

Then we have the point (0,-7).

Now we use x=1, then:


y=2(1)-7=-5

Then we have the point (1,-5).

Now that we have two points (0,-7) and (1,-5) we graph them in the plane:

Finally we join the points with a straight line:
