To find the coodinates of the midpoint (x,y) we use the following formula:

\begin{gathered} x=(x_1+x_2)/(2) \\ y=(y_1+y_2)/(2) \end{gathered}

Susbtituting

\begin{gathered} x_1=-4 \\ x_2=4 \\ y_1=6 \\ y_2=-2 \end{gathered}

we get:

\begin{gathered} x=0 \\ y=2 \end{gathered}

Finally, the coordinates of the midpoint are (0,2).
