Please help me with this trigonometry word problem!

An inquisitive math student is standing 25 feet from the base of the Washington Monument. The angle of elevation from her horizontal line of sight is 87.4°. If her “eye height” is 5ft, how tall is the monument?
Please show work!

in triangle ABE

relationship between base and perpendicular is given by tan angle

tan 87.4=p/b

tan87.4=x/25

x=tan 87.4×25=550.54ft

height of the monument=x+5=550.54+5=555.54ft
