SOLUTION

We want to find the remainder when

(x^2-10x+16)/(x-2)

Using the remainder theorem, we have

\begin{gathered} x-2=0 \\ x=2 \\ Now\text{ } \\ f(x)=x^2-10x+16 \\ f(2)=2^2-10(2)+16 \\ =4-20+16 \\ =0 \end{gathered}

Hence the answer is 0
