A string that is 0.250 m long has a bob with a mass of 12.3 kg placed on it. It is allowed to swing so that it's amplitude is 0.100 m. What is the period of oscillation?1.00 s0.160 s246s39.3 s

The period of a pendulum is given by:

T=2\pi\sqrt{(L)/(g)}

where L is the length of the sting and g is the acceleration of gravity. In this case the length of the string is 0.250 m, plugging the values we have:

\begin{gathered} T=2\pi\sqrt{(0.250)/(9.8)} \\ T=1.00 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the period is 1.00 s
