Hello there. To solve this question, we'll have to see the relation between x and y in each diagram.

For the diagram A, x covers 5 squares, while y covers only 3.

This means that it represents a decrease of 2/5 and therefore y = 3/5x = 0.6 x

For the diagram B, x covers 6 squares, while y covers 11. It means a increase of 5/6.

therefore y = (1 + 5/6) = 11/6 x = 1.83333 x or 1.83bar x.
