Applying the Pythagorean Theorem


\begin{gathered} c^2=a^2+b^2 \\ c^2=1.22^2+19.3^2 \\ c=19.34 \end{gathered}

step 2

Find the measure of angle A


\begin{gathered} tanA=(1.22)/(19.3) \\ A=3.6^o \end{gathered}

step 3

Find out the measure of angle B

Remember that

A+B+C=180 degrees

A=3.6

C=90

substitute

3.6+B+90=180

B=180-93.6

B=86.4 degrees

therefore

c=19.34

A=3.6 degrees

B=86.4 degrees
