Data:

nurse: N

nurse assistants: A

beds: B

1N for 10 beds

2A for each N

As in the hospital there are 300beds you divide this total number of beds into 10 to find the number of N in the hospital:

\begin{gathered} (300)/(10)=30 \\ \\ \end{gathered}

and then that result multiply by 2 as this is the number of nurse asistants for each N:

30\cdot2=60Then, there are needed 60 nurse assistants for the 300 bed hospitalUsing dimensional analysis:

nurse: N

nurse assistants: A

beds: B

1N for 10 beds

2A for each N

300B A=?

300B\cdot(1N)/(10B)\cdot(2A)/(1N)=60A
