To calculate the distance from the center of dilation, we shall multiply the scale factor by the distance fom the corresponding length on the pre-image.

This means;


\begin{gathered} QM^(\prime)=2* QM \\ QM^(\prime)=2*3 \\ QM^(\prime)=6 \end{gathered}

ANSWER:

The length of QM' is 6 units
