Answer:

If The ratio of the width to

the length of a rectangle is 4:15

let width is 4x

let length is 15x

perimeter of the rectangle = 2(length + width)

= 2(15x + 4x)

= 2(19x)

=38x

If the perimeter of the rectangle is 152 meters.

152 = 38x

x= 152/38

x = 4

so,

width is 4x = 4(4) = 16m

length is 15x = 15(4) = 60m

The area of the rectangle = length. width

= 60m.16m

= 960 m^2
