M&M’s and Skittles was

passed out to each of the students. There were 55 packs of candy total. The
amount of skittles was 20 less than 2 times the amount of M&M’s. How many packs
of skittles and M&M’s were passed out in each class.

M&MS: 20

Explanation:

First, I multiplied how much is required for to be even, which is 27.5.

So just double the m&m's, which is 55, then subtract the 55 m&m's by 20, and then you get 35 skittles.
