While trade with the Europeans provided Native Americans with goods that helped make their lives easier and more convenient, it sometimes was at a cost to their culture. What do you think is more important: having conveniences and new technology or maintaining traditions and culture? Explain your answer

I think having conveniences and new technology are more important because they allow for further technological innovation. This can help us eventually evolve as a species, so while the natives culture was lost, I believe that it was necessary to further the technological innovations of a species. After all, without technology we couldn’t have phones or computers or airplanes, all things developed by the human race in search of convenience.
