Remember slope-intercept form is: y = mx + b

"m" is the slope, which is rise/run or change of y/change of x. Counting the boxes, you get the slope of -3/1 which just equals -3...

Now you can find "b" of the equation which is the y-intercept point. This is the y-value where the x-value is 0. Looking at the graph you can see that the y-value is -3, when x is 0.

Let's put this all together and plug the numbers into the equation...
