y=3/2x-1/2

Explanation:

Use slope formula to get the slope (3/2). Then use y=mx+b to get the y-intercept by plugging in 2 (from first coordinate) for ¨x¨ and 2.5 for y and 3/2 for m (2.5=3/2(2)+b) which when solved gives you (-1/2=b).
