Solve the equation: 5 (2x + 1) = 25

The answer would be 2, You multiple your 5 outside of the parenthesis to 2x and your +1 and then you get 10x + 5 =25 with this you subtract your 5 from 5 and 25 and you get 10x =20 which is 2.

Answer:

5×2x +5×1=25

10x+5=25

10x=25-5

10x=20

x=2
