slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
=(-2)-(-4)/(-5)-2
=2/-7
=-2/7

Answer:

The slope of the line is -2/7.

Explanation:

To find the slope it is the Rise over the run, the Y axis over the X axis. You get two points from a line and then count the distance of the y axis which in this case it is -2 and then you get the distance of the x axis, in this case it is 7 to the right until you get to the next point. After that just throw it together. -2 (Rise or the Y axis Or up and down) / 7 (run or the x axis or left to right).
