Answer: y = (4/5)x -1

Slope-intercept form: y = mx + b
m = slope
b = y-intercept

slope = change in y/change in x

(5, 3)
(0, -1)

The change in y from up to down is -4.
The change in x from up to down is -5.

Therefore, the slope, m, is 4/5 since the two negatives cancel out to make it positive.

The y-intercept, b, is when x = 0, which is already given in (0, -1).

Now, just plug in the values:

y = (4/5)x -1
