y=24/5x+24

Explanation:

You must find your slope first. (72-48=24)(10-5=5). (24/5 does not simplify so your slope is just 24/5). Then you can use either y=mx+b or y-y1=m(x-x1) to find your b. I will use y=mx+b. So you would plug in you first coordinate (5,48) and your slop (24/5). You put 48 as your y and 24/5 as your m and 5 as your x but you keep b as itself because you don´t know it yet. So it would look like this (48=24/5(5)+b). Now you have to distribute. (48=24+b). Now since 24 is positive you must subtract it to get b by itself so (48-24=24) So your b=24. Your equation is y=24/5x+24.
