Answer:

For the first part of 4 questions wrong: he would get 42 points

For the second part 48 points

Explanation:

For the first part of 4 questions wrong: he would get 42 points because 50 divided by 2 is 25 and 25 minus 4 is 21 and 21 times 2 is 42.

For the last part I'm guessing x = 1 so again 50 divided by 2 is 25 and 25 minus 1 is 24 and 24 times 2 is 48

I think it is right.

The second one is 50-2x

Available points 50. Points lost=points per question x4=2x4=8 final score 50-8=42

Score with x questions wrong: available points 50 points lost=points per questionx4=2*x=2x final score =available points-points lost =50-2x
