If energy is "transferred out" of a substance, what causes the

molecules to change phase faster?

When the scientist transferred the same amount of energy out of both substances, only one substance changed phase while the other did not. Substance R changed phase because the week attraction between molecules let them move faster. it’s molecules now move around each other.
