A body moves with a speed of 80 km/h on a straight road of 10 km. How long does it take the vehicle to travel that distance if it is considered that the speed remains constant during the journey?

We first apply the data to the problem.

Data:

  • D = 10km
  • V = 80km/h
  • T = ?

Then, we apply the formula that is.

Formula:

  • T = D/V

Finally we develop the problem.

Developing:

T = 10 km / 80 km/h

T = 0.125h

T = 7.5min

The vehicle takes a time of 0.125 hours or 7.5 minutes.
