15. Molecule in liquid are loosely packed with no fixed arrangement. They can move past each other but the forces between the molecule are strong enough to keep them together.

boiling point. The kinetic energy of the

molecules increases due to which the intermolecular attractive force between

the molecule weakens. Eventually the

kinetic energy is great enough for them

to break free and it forms gas instead of

being liquid anymore.
