How many solutions are there for this equation? Why?
16t−6+8=16t+2
Select the option that correctly answers both questions.

A- an infinite number of solutions, because both sides of the equation are equal

B- one solution, because there is only one variable

C- no solution, because both sides of the equation can never be equal

D- no solution, because the coefficients are equal but the constants are not equal

The answer is A

Any number can be input and the equation would be true. If you try to solve for “t” you would eventually get 0=0
