Write an equation in slope-intercept form for the line that passes through (2,-5) and is parallel to the line whose equation is 5x + 2y = 6. ​

5x+2y=6 let it be equation no.1

then,

equation no.1 is parallel to the line which point is (2,-5)

5x+2y+k=0 let it be equation no.2

then,

equation no.2 passes through a point (2,-5)

5x2+2x(-5)+k =0

10+(-10)+k=0

0+k=0

k=0

putting the value of k in equation no.2 we get,

5x+2y+0=0let it be equation no.3

then, the slope of equation no.3 is -5/2
