Answer:

-2

Explanation:

Slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

Where (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) derive from any point on the graph.

The points chosen may vary however I chose (0,-10) and (-2,-4)

So we have (x1,y1) = (0,10) so x1 = 0 and y1 = -10

And we have (x2,y2) = (-4,-2) so x2 = -4 and y2 = -2

Now we plug the values of x and y into the formula

Recall slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

==> plug in x1 = 0 , y1 = 10 , x2 = -4 , y2 = -2

Slope = (-2 - (-10)/(-4 - 0)

==> remove parenthesis from 10

slope = (-2 + 10)/(-4 - 0)

==> simplify addition and subtraction

slope = 8/-4

==> simplify fraction

slope = -2
