Write an equation of a line that goes through the point (2,3) and is Parnell to the line y = 3x -5

Answer:

y=3x-3

Explanation:

Since (2, 3) would be 2 away, the only answer that would work is y=3x-3, since if it was y=3x-7, it would move down. You keep the 3x, so it stays parallel. I don't know how to explain it better, and this is all going off that it is parallel.
