cos(20)=12/x -----> by adjacent side divided by the hypotenuse

answer is option C

because

In a right triangle

the adjacent side to the angle of 20 degrees is 12

the hypotenuse is x

cos(20)=12/x ------> adjacent side divided by the hypotenuse
