The Area of the composite shape is the sum of the areas of the triangle and that of the square

Area of square = length x breadth =>


\begin{gathered} \text{Area of square = 10 m x 6m } \\ \Rightarrow60m^2 \end{gathered}

Area of Traiangle = 1/2 (base x height)
