In order to determine f(-3), we just need to use the value of x = -3 in the equation of f(x) and determine its value.

So we have:

\begin{gathered} f(x)=-2x-5 \\ f(-3)=-2\cdot(-3)-5 \\ f(-3)=6-5 \\ f(-3)=1 \end{gathered}

So the value of f(-3) is 1.
