a)

We want to see which of the following survey would be most appropriate to figure out the number of senior who want to go to 4-year college.

We will ask seniors to see who wants to go to college.

No honor roll students.

No student council members.

So,

25 seniors are randomly selected; 14 plan to go to a 4-year college.

b)

The rate from part (a) is 14 out of 25 senior plan to go to college.

So, out of 750 seniors, we will expect

(14*750)/(25)=420

seniors to plan to go to 4-year college.

Answer

420
