Solution:

Given:


y=(3)/(4)x+2

Comparing the equation of the line to slope-intercept form;


\begin{gathered} y=mx+b \\ y=(3)/(4)x+2 \\ \\ slope,m=(3)/(4) \\ y-intercept,b=2 \end{gathered}

When two lines are parallel, they have equal slopes.


m_1=m_2

Hence, the slope of the line parallel to y = (3/4)x + 2 is;


m_2=(3)/(4)
