The perimeter if a square is 60 feet, then find the length of the diagonal. If necessary, round to the nearest tenth.

Square

Perimeter = s*4

s= side

Digonal^2 = s^2 + s^2

Diagonal = √(2s*^2) (I)

Perimeter = s*4

60 = s*4

s = 60/ 4

s= 15

Replacing in ( I )

Diagonal = √(2s*^2)

= √(2* ( (15)*^2) )

= √2* 225

= 15√2

= 21.21
