Explanation:

To get a "like fraction" multiply the top and bottom by the same number. This changes the way the fraction looks, but keeps the value of it the same.

8, 7, and 28 all go into 56. Change the denominator (bottom number) to 56. Use the same multiplier on the top. See image.

For the second problem, multiply by 5/5 and 3/3 to get two fractions that both have 75 in the denominator.
