Larger number = 16

Explanation:

Forming the equation,

→ x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) = 45

→ 3x + 3 = 45

Now the value of x will be,

→ 3x + 3 = 45

→ 3x = 45 - 3

→ x = 42/3

→ [ x = 14 ]

The value of larger number is,

→ x + 2

→ 14 + 2 = 16

Hence, larger number is 16.
