In order to calculate the area of a circle, we can use the following formula:

A=\pi r^2

Where A is the area and r is the radius of the circle.

So using r = 9 and π = 3.14, we have:

\begin{gathered} A=3.14\cdot9^2 \\ A=3.14\cdot81 \\ A=254.34 \end{gathered}

So the area of the circle is 254.34 square units.
