(9x^2-x+5)-(8x^2-9x+2)

Simplify as shown below,


\begin{gathered} (9x^2-x+5)-(8x^2-9x+2)=9x^2-x+5-8x^2+9x-2 \\ =x^2+8x+3 \\ \Rightarrow(9x^2-x+5)-(8x^2-9x+2)=x^2+8x+3 \end{gathered}

The answer is x^2+8x+3
