Answer: Expected value = 53.8

GIVEN THE FOLLOWING DATA

Score: 25 43 94

number of students: 3 4 3

E(x) = 25*3 + 43*4 + 97*3 / 3 + 4 + 3

E(x) = 75 + 172 + 291 / 10

E(x) = 538/10

E(x) = 53.8

therefore, the expected value is 53.8
