6x^2+23x+7

Step 1: break the expression into groups


\begin{gathered} 6x^2+23x+7 \\ 6x^2+2x+21x+7 \end{gathered}

Step 2: factor out 2x, and 7 from first and second

Step 3: Factor out common fact
