\begin{gathered} CE=EA=AB \\ \text{let them be represented by x} \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} x+x+x+BD=30 \\ 3x+6=30 \\ 3x=30-6 \\ 3x=24 \\ \text{divide both sides by 3} \\ (3x)/(3)=(24)/(3) \\ x=8 \end{gathered}

therefore, CE = 8, EA = 8 and AB = 8


\begin{gathered} EB=EA+AB \\ EB=8+8=16 \end{gathered}

the value of EB = 16

CD = 30, BD = 6, CE = EA = AB, find EB-example-1
