We can answer this question considering that somatic cells are those cells that are not involved in sexual reproduction (i.e. meiosis with male and female sexual cells, or sperm and egg).

These cells are the ones that we can find in our blood, and or body tissues, for example, and have a diploid DNA, from both parents.

We can say, at this point, that somatic cells are the 2 option, Nonreproductive cells.
