Area or Circumference?

The circumference of a circle is the length of a circle's outline. If we could cut the drawing of a circle, then the legth of the line will be the circumference.

The area of a circle is the total amount of space inside the circle's outline.

If we were asked to calculate the distance traveled by a wheel in one complete rotation we would need to find the circumference.
