We need to make x the subject of formula in the given equation;

2(3x-2)=5x

Firstly we need to expand the bracket.

\begin{gathered} 2(3x-2)=5x \\ 2*3x-2^{}*2=5x^{} \\ 6x\text{ - 4 }=5x^{} \end{gathered}

Then we can subtract 5x from both sides.

\begin{gathered} 6x-4-5x^{}\text{ }=5x-5x^{} \\ 6x-5x^{}-4=0^{} \\ x\text{ - 4 }=0 \end{gathered}

finally, we also need to add 4 to both sides, so that we will be left with x on one side.

\begin{gathered} x-4+4=0^{}+4 \\ x=4^{} \end{gathered}

We have our answer.

So, making x the subject of formula;

x=4^{}
